Allen Temple’s annual Back-to-School Blast 2026 was a tremendous success, filled with excitement and community spirit. The celebration featured games, food, school supplies, free haircuts and hairstyles, and gift card giveaways—all designed to engage, encourage, and uplift local families.
Community organizations also shared essential health information and valuable resources, extending support beyond the event and throughout the year. This wonderful day was made possible through the generosity of local businesses, civic organizations, individual donors, and volunteers. Their commitment helped equip children and families with the educational and health resources they need to begin the new school year with confidence.
Special thanks to all of the volunteers from Allen Temple AMEC and Church at Ross Bridge who worked so hard to make every attendee and participating agency feel welcome.

On Resurrection Sunday, Allen Temple welcomed many families, friends, and guests. The day began with the annual Easter Program organized by the Christian Education team. This uplifting program was followed by a thought-provoking sermon titled “You Be The Judge,” delivered by Pastor Faush.

Allen Temple partnered with the Shades Valley Elks Lodge N#884, Temple 685, and the Order of Eastern Star to host the annual community Easter Egg Hunt. This fun-filled event provided a joyful experience for children and their families, featuring engaging Bible trivia games, exciting prizes, and food, all while emphasizing the true meaning of Easter.
